Marijuana, also known as cannabis, has been around for a long time, with many people having either tried it once at a party with friends, or being used on a somewhat regular basis. What a lot of people don’t know though is that the active ingredient in marijuana that can get you high, Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, actually stays in your system for a lot longer than you realize. If you are ever to be subject to a drug test for marijuana, then there are a number of different options that companies have when it comes to this.

Marijuana Use Is Surprising Common

The information and education surrounding marijuana is scarce, with children being told from a young age that it’s not something that they should be doing, not even counting the fact that it is not legal. Studies have indicated that around 21% of Americans, and 2.5% of the world’s population have used marijuana, but these people don’t generally have a strong knowledge of how long it is detectable after use.

If understanding how long marijuana stays in your system is of interest to you, then feel free to take a look at the following infographic. It provides you with all of the information that you need regarding how long marijuana can be detected through different tests, depending on how often marijuana is consumed by the individual. The least commonly known test is the hair test, and the results may be surprising to some.

You can easily understand the differences thanks to the color coded bar chart and easy to read layout that the information is presented in. Take a look below if you’re interested.

I failed my annual mammogram. I was scheduled for I failed my annual mammogram. I was scheduled for a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound to potentially look for breast cancer…and boy did this cause some scanxiety!Good news! There’s no lumps, bumps, cysts, tumors, etc. my tests are normal. So why did I flunk my first mammogram? It could have been a glitch. Or…Hormones can cause breast tissue to be slightly different from week to week or scan to scan, which is why they suggest not doing your scan the week before your period (which is when I got scanned). It can be hard for women to avoid that week though when appointments are often made months in advance.Either way, I’ll be back next year for my 3rd mammogram. I hope you’ll remember to schedule yours.#breastcancer #mammogram #annualmammogram #scanxiety #perimenopausehealth #womenover40
